Through a series of vignettes, Smashed evokes nostalgia for a world of black and white photographs, post war romance and tense relationships. The performers dance, act and junggle with a flirtatious and comedic attitude loved by all ages. Inspired by the work of German choreographer Pina Bausch, the show will make you laugh so hard.
Social Circus Workshop
Once again, tales can be learned and told through circus performances. Foreign circus artists will be on hand to conduct this circus workshop—juggling skills using bottles, balls, and plates; introduction to acrobatics; etc—to help enliven the tales of Pancatantra.
This dance-theater performance is a new interpretation on The Restaurant of Many Orders, a novel by Kenji Miyazawa. It asked the question “what is human” and “how are we supposed to make a connection with nature”.
Entang Wiharso Exhibition
Entang Wiharso will create an installation made up of fences, walls, fort or "something" that refers to those forms. If the fort-fences of our daily lives serve to strengthen the sense of ownership by private individuals, families groups or race, nation, then the virtual world (internet, social media) has taken down these "fences".
