Reconsidering New Sculpture

This discussion will try to reconsider what “new sculpture art” actually is.  Do the pieces in this exhibition show that style: something which is really and truly new or only a continuation of what already exists.  What about the overlap between new sculpture and contemporary sculpture.  And what about the line dividing the two? 

This discussion presents Anusapati, a sculptor who teaches in the Fine Arts and Design Department of the Indonesian Art Institute (ISI) Yogyakarta.
