De souffles et de machines is a collection of acoustic and mixed works performed in the unique ways of a contemporary saxophone quartet. Quasar Quatuor de Saxophones will perform works by Claude Vivier, Jean Derome, Pierre Alexandre Tremblay, Sylvain Pohu, Alexander Schubert and Frank Zappa. Some works are commissions and world-premieres.

Quasar Quatuor de Saxophones is Marie-Chantal Leclair (soprano saxophone), Matahieu Leclair (alto saxophone), André Leroux (tenor saxophone), and Jean-Marc Bouchard (baritone saxophone). They have an annual concert series back in Montreal, Canada, and goes on concert tours to the United States, Mexico, and around Europe. They are six-time recipient of the OPUS Prize from Québec Music Council.
