Founded in 2020 and performed under the name Bangun Jiwo Kwartet in Jakarta City Philharmonic in the same year. In 2023, the group changed its name into J Modern Quartet and focuses on playing 20th century music. J Modern Quartet will perform compositions by Béla Bartók, Terry Riley, and Adi Darmawan.

Mad Madmen, a musical trio originating from Jakarta, will be making their debut performance at Teater Salihara. The group will present six musical repertoires that combine intricate rhythms with melodic complexity. Their compositions place a strong emphasis on narrative contexts that are both intimate and meaningful.

Staging Desire is an exhibition that brings together the works of two artists, Nindityo Adipurnomo and Iman Sucahyo. It creates a dialogue between the two artists, while at the same time, inviting the audience to take part in the conversation through an immersive and participatory experience.

Join this innovative workshop that blends creative writing with physical expression. Discover how body flexibility can sharpen the mind, and how an open mind can deepen body awareness and reduce stress. Through guided exercises, participants will explore the connection between movement and narrative. The session will culminate in the creation of a short story, presented in a choreographed dramatic reading.
